Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam Welcome Aff Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 Trophy

Recently, on December 3, 2022, the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 Trophy Tour arrived in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam. Taking place at the main lobby of Aeon Mall Binh Tan, the event offered Vietnamese football fans an opportunity to get up close with the historic trophy and  interact with two local legends of the game, Nguyen Minh Phuong and Nguyen Viet Thang.

Before ending in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam (December 3), the Trophy Tour started from September 24 in Bangkok - Thailand, Singapore (October 15), Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia (October 22) and Jakarta - Indonesia (November 26).

The Trophy Tour event was also attended by representatives from Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam, representatives from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), as well as football fans and members of the public.

During the event, the Vietnamese fans enjoyed on-stage performances and games, interacted with their local football heroes, as well as took photos with the prestigious championship trophy.

Mr. Pham Anh Hao - Senior General Manager, AC Sales Department, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam, representative of title sponsor shared: “Together, we can build better” is our slogan for this year’s tournament, and we aim to inspire growth and build even more engaging relationships with all our stakeholders. Working closely together with our partners who share a common goal, we believe our campaign at this year’s AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 extends our aspirations to engage with both players and fans, and give back to our local communities through football.

In less than a week’s time, we will officially kickstart the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 tournament. We wish the Vietnamese football team all the best in the upcoming tournament and hope they can make the country proud. (The tournament will be held from December 20, 2022 to January 16, 2023).

The AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 Trophy

Buổi sáng cùng ngày, chương trình Tập huấn bóng đá (Football Clinic) cũng đã được tổ chức thành công tại TP.HCM. Diễn ra cùng với Trophy Tour, Football Clinic là một phần trong sáng kiến CSR của AFF và Mitsubishi Electric nhằm hỗ trợ trẻ em từ các cộng đồng địa phương.

In the morning of the same day, a Football Clinic session was also successfully organised in Ho Chi Minh City. Taking place alongside the Trophy Tour, the Football Clinic is a part of the CSR initiatives by the AFF and Mitsubishi Electric to support children from the local communities.

Led by the two football legends and assistant coaches from the VFF and Mitsubishi Electric, the fun-filled engaging Football Clinic provided the young children from the SOS Children’s Village the opportunity to learn fundamental football techniques, go through training drills, and play friendly mini-matches together with their local football heroes and fellow peers.

Through this Football Clinic and their engagment with the football legends and coaches, this has been a fruitful session to teach the children values and life-long skills that will help them in many areas of their lives. As we bring the community even closer together to celebrate the love of football, we hope that this experience has motivated and inspired these children to dream big and maybe even become professional football players in the future.
